I'm going to make this short because well, I just finished watching the last episode and feel a headache from cheer stupidity coming on.
The concept was interesting. The first half was better. The plot falls apart, the main character goes from annoying, to bearable to mind numbing infuriating. It never truly concludes and what normally would of been a couple episode long story-arc begins the entire second half of the season.
For a show that keeps touting ideals about Haru being so awesome and so much better than he gives himself credit, he -NEVER- stops needing others to come saving him and wins purely
...
by brute force, intervention of others, and outnumbering the competition.
The pointless fanservice went too far as well. Devolved into making all female characters pretty much just attractive meat to oogle at and was quite annoying as the character concepts were all interesting. The problems are never thoroughly thought out and all simply hand waved away and gets solved in manners completely unrelated to how the characters try and solve it as well.
The story, writing, and directing just does not hold up. Severely disapointing after coming here because it was highly recommended to those who enjoyed Sword Art Online.
On the bright side, it is pretty.
