Hi, this is the person who wrote that true beauty review.
Except I'm not here to trash this manhwa.

It starts off with a college girl yeseul who all of a sudden gets told to start wearing makeup and work on her appearance after only focusing on studying her whole life. She then gets mistreated at a salon by some makuep atrist and at that same salon she gets approached by a dude looking for "The perfect model" and she hesitates to accept the deal at first but eentually gives in.

The makeup remover didn't come off as a super interesting webtoon/manhwa (at ... least for me) which is why it took me so damn long to write this. Once i started it though i realized how good it truly is and it also finds a way to be pretty comical at times. Even though i'm only a few chapters in i think anyone can quickly recognize the theme of this work which is telling us how makeup can make people perceive us in multiple fashions and so far i think the author is doing a good job.

I do plan to read more of this so this review might get rewritten if i wanna add something or my opinion as changed.

!!SPOILER WARNING FOR CHAPTERS 2-7 + 41-47!!

So i saw there were no reviews for Ghost teller which isn't surprising considering it's not very popular, so I'm gonna try and do it justice by writing one.

Ghost teller is said to be a horror series but I see it as more that that. It explores the desires of the human mind and how far we'll go to fulfill those desires in strange ways and overall how crazy and scary humans are. One of my favorite stories that explored this topic was "The story of Brothers" chapters 41 - 47. This story takes a strange ... approach at the horror genre in and intriguing way. It starts off with a brother who is a clown and really wants to pursue his dream and make people laugh(his jokes aren't that good tho). He also has to support his two younger brothers one of which who is sick. It's never classified what happened to the parents btw. But anyways the dude really wants to support his sibling no matter WHAT it cost. He then starts online streaming for fun to try and make people laugh and get some extra cash, let's just say that he does some unexpected things that might surprise you. I'll cut it off there tho since I don't wanna spoil my favorite story. Either way the story goes into the craze of him just wanting to protect his brothers and support them.

One of the stories that really captured that horror aspect though was the first story, "The story of the woman" which covers chapters 2 - 7.


Ok so "the story of the woman" covers a story about well, a woman who just wants to get a boyfriend and settle down, she finds one who's super handsome and has a baby with him. She thinks he's cheating on him and gets angry and very insecure about if he really likes her. He gets murdered :). The true horror of this story was just the image of his murder. It wasn't necessarily sweet home or parasyte type of gore it was just f*cked up, the way his body was wrapped, the blood seeping out of the machine, everything was horrible and it kinda shocked me when i first read it. And when they killed the child it really made me think.


The way they conveyed the psychological part was amazing in "The story of the woman", her being mentally ill and killing her husband and child were certainly plot twisters, but it makes sense. Her laughing in the jail cell(?) strapped down certainly captured her mentally deteriorating and just getting worse and more creepy and disgusting in way.

Overall the stories in ghost teller are certainly amazing and could be interpreted in many different ways. Some might say ghost teller is poorly executed and lacks in whatever but so far I am truly enjoying ghost teller and the stories it has told me.

Well that's my 1 cent on Ghost teller and sorry if my review wasn't as enjoyable as I would like it to be, I sometimes struggle with expressing my thoughts on certain topics but i hope i'll get better at writing reviews in the future

Never really thought i would write a review for this godforsaken series. But boredom has got to me. Also, as i have watched super lovers a good 2+ years ago my memory may be a little murky.

Super lovers is what you'd call a shounen-ai, a genre that has very pedophilic roots.

In super lovers we get to see a grown ass man groom his little brother while everybody watches and doesn't say shit. I think what i find most disgusting is that everybody in that series knows it's wrong but doesn't do anything to help ren get away ... from his disgusting older brother.

Now the other thing that's so utterly strange about super lovers is the entertainment, yes all the characters were dogshit, if not worse that that. But I somehow managed to blast through those episodes so quickly, it's kinda shocking.

Onto the art, there isn't really much to say about it except the fact that occasionally throughout the series, (from what i can remember) the art got nicer. Either way it's a waste of talent overall considering how shitty this series is.

Overall this series could've been at least a tad better if the 2 weren't literally brothers and 8 years apart.

Well that's the end of my small rant that i will call a "review", also sorry for any spelling or grammar mistakes.

True beauty is honestly such a let-down. As a long time reader i'm super disappointed. True beauty started off as an amazing manhwa, it was interesting and kinda a new concept.

The art for true beauty isn't really anything to complain about, it can honestly be really pretty at times. The main complaint i have about True beauty is the repetitivity, as soon as the manhwa started gaining more and more fame it started going downhill. The creator pleased the boring newer fans instead of sticking with the original plot.

Love triangles are already annoying but i feel as though the creator has dragged this out, ... the same thing that happened with Lookism, another popular manhwa.

I started ready true beauty because of the interesting plot, romance, and the drama. Not a extremely repetitive story that reuses the same tropes over and over again.

I may be a little but harsh but i felt as though this manhwa needed some criticism.

This is my first review so don't expect much. SPOILERS INCLUDED

Art: The art for this anime is actually pretty good and isn't a pain in the ass to look at. It slightly reminded me of this other anime I watched called "Ano hi mita hana no namae wo bokutachi wa mada shiranai" or commonly known as "Anohana".

Music: The music was a lil mediocre, but it was pretty chill and easy to digest. As long as anime music isn't as bad as Taylor Swift's music then I'm fine with it.

Characters: The MC's in this movie were annoying. The girl ... MC 10x as pushy as Tooru from "Kobayashi-san chi no maid dragon" she literally centered herself around Hinode basically the majority of the film or maybe I'm just being too judgy. I generally enjoyed the side characters a little bit more, especially girl MC best friend for some reason.

Story: The story for this reminded me of this webtoon I read on Lezhin comics called Dallae. The story started getting confusing to me when they introduced "The other side", I ignored it though because I thought that it might make sense later on. Which it didn't. The ending was pretty bad in my opinion. When the cats had swooped in to save Muge and Hinode I was so confused on where they came from. And when Hinode and Muge had changed back to their human forms even though I coulda sworn that they had been turned into cats at the tree or whatever AND confessed their love I already had a pretty clear opinion on this movie. It's a disappointment.

They really could've executed this movie in such a better way than they actually did. This anime film is something that people either can love or hate. Anyways, if you're looking for something a little similar to this that's way better and less confusing you should check out Dallae on Lezhin comics if you don't mind the GL genre.
