Hunter x Hunter is truly a work of art, from start to finish; having almost 150 episodes, every single one brings more to the table. Every episode is important to the story and doesn't feel that it shouldn't be there or that it could be skipped. The art, soundtrack, characters, and story, among a list of other things, make it one of the best stories to experience. The way the story is able to switch between dark tones of death and misery to episodes full of hope and passion, all being brought together to form truly, a work of art.

The way from the first ... episode you can start to see the main characters grow and learn makes us as the audience feel and understand them more as the story progresses, causing more tension and stress when we see the main characters face off against all odds without knowing who could be lost at any moment, truly builds up the link between the characters, the story and us, as the audience.

The emotions that the story shows more and more as the story progresses, make it even better, having a bigger impact on us with each tragedy or victory that happens. This show should be experienced by everyone who is looking for a deep story that brings more and more with each episode that passes.

Even if the story starts slow, sometimes forced or bland, the story in the second half of the first season (and for the rest of the other two seasons and the new movie that came out) gets better and better. When some shows become worst as each season is released, the opposite happens with Kaguya-sama: Love is War, the characters, the balance between comedy and romance is just perfect, being able to create deep and serious moments without them feeling out of place.

This is one of my favorite stories that I´ve seen and it's just fun and wholesome. The character development that most of ... the characters go through is seen and you can see how much they've grown by the end of the movie. I give the first season an 8 because of its rocky start, but trust me, even if you see bad reviews not recommending this show, give it a try, with the thought that it may feel slow in the first episodes, trust me when I say this, it gets better and better and you will end up loving the show and all of its characters.

For only having 26 episodes, this show is fantastic, its vibe, the soundtrack, the aesthetic, the characters, it´s just amazing. I love it so much and recommend you check it out, you won´t regret it. Even when some episodes don´t connect as much and there is no specific plot point apart from us as the audience finding out what happened to the main character in his past as the story goes on, it manages to create a bond between every single character from the crew and its world-building, with the uniqueness of each world and us. (If you are going to watch it, watch all ... of it, and after episode 25 watch the movie and then watch the last episode ;))
