The two series have a similar structure and the main characters share a similar role. Also both series integrate the supernatural into an otherwise "real" world to a surprising degree.

I know these two series are recommended to death but it's not just the popularity that sets them together. Code Geass borrowed significantly in the wake of Death Notes popularity. The main character's in both series share similar motive and battle their opponents on a strategic level that is above most people.

...then you might like Made in Abyss add

I wouldn't call "Madoka Magica" a shoujo for the same reason I wouldn't call "Made in Abyss" a shounen. Both turn their respective genre on its head, and there's something of a "shock factor" that comes with it.

If you liked Kino no Tabi: The Beautiful World add

...then you might like Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou add

Slices of life in an abnormal setting. You'll appreciate the world-building of both. More atmospheric than plot driven.

Aside from sharing main characters with the same voice actor, you'll find that the humor is very similar in both shows.

If you liked ERASED you will probably have fun with ReLIFE. I see a similar premise, the idea of turning back time (less literal in ReLIFE), and themes in these two series. ReLIFE is a bit more lighthearted than ERASED, though I suppose both have a heartwarming side.
