~spoiler free review: I've only written a couple so wording is probably bad~

At the time of writing this review its rated 6.95 with only around 1,000 members, and honestly, I'm shocked it hasn't been given more love up till now

story: 9
Wholesome, that all I have to say, wholesome.
The story revolves around first year Tomonaga and second year Nanbu and their relationship. The story is short but still well paced, and they manage to go through a satisfying amount of content in the handful of chapters were given
its a story that makes you go "aww" every few pages"

art: 7
nothing to write home about, pretty basic art ... for a shoujo manga. I thought the alien toys were all really cutely drawn though >v<. There was nothing bad about it, characters were easy to tell who was who, and the lines were nice and crisp!

character: 10

No, but seriously I love these two to death, particularly Nanbu
Her stupidity, mixed with her sort of dorky nature are just so fun and luckily not so over the top so that its annoying.
Tomonaga may not have been as unique as Nanbu but his character was still very likable, and the mix of the two was just so fun!

enjoyment: 9
overall a very enjoyable, so if your looking for a short manga to read, I'd highly suggest giving this a go!

I'll start off by saying, if you aren't a fan/haven't read the later series (D.Gray-man) you probably won't find this that interesting

Reading it you can really tell it was Hoshino's first go at creating the base for D.Gray-man. As its a one-shot there isn't really any context for whats going on, and information given is sort of just tossed in there very quickly and then thrown aside. I wont bother giving a summary since the one provided is sufficient enough. The plots fine and enjoyable, pacing is god awful

Art:8
I'm probably ... biased since I'm a big fan of D.Gray-man, and the art is reminiscent to the earlier parts of the manga (as Hoshino's art has tremendously improved) It's simple, but still filled with detail, and it gets the point across. No complaints :D

Characters:6
Nothing to write home about, since it's just a one-shot there isn't much fleshing out of characters, but its really interesting to see which characters were used to create ones in D.Gray-man!
Robin ~later to be turned into Allen~ is our, not cursed but still has a little special something which I'll leave you to find out, protagonist with a anti-akuma arm. And basically in all aspects is just french Allen (besides the fact she's a girl of course) but oh lord that eye, instead or the eye we are used to we are gifted a somewhat disgusting, yet very cool looking, complete split of the face, FUN! hehehe... yeah I'm happy that got changed.
Rinali ~later to become the rinali we know today~ not much to say, she just wanted to turn her dead fiance into an akuma
Millennium earl ~ gonna be honest, despite reading this around 20 minutes ago, I don't remember anything about him ._.

Okay, before I begin hear me out, I've never written a review before so it may be kinda messy but the was a truly stunning story so I couldn't help myself...

Story:
The story is like nothing I've ever seen before, and it's definitely one of the most relatable thing I've ever read.
We start out with our main Tasuku Kaname being called out by some of his classmates who have found out he may be gay. He begins to stress out and almost gets to the point he kills himself, this is until he see's a mysterious woman (anonymous) jump, but ... to his surprise she is completely fine. This woman becomes the foundation for our story and brings together each of the different characters. This story captures a lot on being part of the LGBT+ community and homophobia so perfectly it just feels like your part of the cast. I definitely teared up a little while reading it.

Art:
Okay I'm just gonna say it, the art is utterly STUNNING, its almost poetic. The way each moment is captured is so perfect , it just draws you in.

characters:
Each and every character is beautifully written. We have people spanning from around 9 up to mid 60s to 70s. Most of the cast are members of the LBGT and we throughout the story we get to watch them come out, begin to accept themselves, and accept others.

Enjoyment:
I really enjoyed this and think even if your not part of the community you should read it to, it could help you be more open to the community :)
