This anime was almost a solid 10 on my actual list imo, if weren't for the rushed ending. The contents in the last few episodes should have been saved for an OVA or something. It sort of swerved away from the main focus and general themes the anime stood by imo. Either way, Ill give it a 10 here just because I loved the show so much, regardless of it's minuscule flaws.
This is sort of gonna be a disoriented and choppy review but should be understandable at the core. First interesting point. This is a very unique show from KyoAni. It is contains unusual, satisfying
...
aesthetic. Which isn't something you see from KyoAni primarily. Probably my favorite KyoAni show at heart. Great themes. Great Characters. Cute in ways. Great mystery and environment. And more importantly in this case, it contains an infinitely satisfying meticulousness. Oreki Houtarou is a very great and favorable character that I can relate to. Well constructed.
Basically in sum, the anime establishes a really interesting world undiscovered by its individually dynamic characters. Oreki Houtarou, the self proclaimed conventional, energy conservationist, finds himself surrounded by a very rampantly curious, cute girl, Eru Chitanda, and his other friends. Throughout the story Oreki is dense to the fact that he has a skill for uncovering mysteries and small anomalies with his inventive, ingenious brain. However, Oreki is a very enclosed and conserving, uneventful person simultaneously. Eventually his friends help him realize that he is significantly and influentially eccentric and beyond what one would label normal as an individual. He is the antithesis of what he claims. The anime builds a very conventional theme surrounding the fact that avoiding things and being dense of one's self and skills, etc isn't necessarily positive, nor the best way to solve something. Evoking your quirky, eccentric, and ingenious traits builds true character and sincere individuality, and can ultimately influence others, even if it expends energy lmfao.

In short, Toradora is a really great Rom-Com SOL that is indefinitely well rounded in all aspects. I found myself enjoying it every step of the way. It has a really sleek nostalgic presentation and is really comfy in its own way. Every relevant character is dynamic. The animation is just dazzling in my personal opinion for 2008. It's very very nostalgic. It's cute, funny, memorable and very re-watchable. It does a really good job taking the concept of a "Tsundere" character and making them unconventional. I'd say its pretty worthy of being a top 10 show. Indeed the basis of the show itself is
...
something we've seen many times, but this show is special in its own fathomable way.

Alright before I get into this, this review most definitely represents the JoJo Franchise in it's entirety, as well as for Part 4 personally. JoJo to begin with, is something I could easily live for just to point that out. There are an infinite number of reasons why I say these words. Simply put the thrill and edge cutting uniqueness it packs, is INSANELY incredible. From character designs, color pallets, references, inventive world building, meaning/symbolism, culture, history, music, humor, mystery, and infinitely on....the JoJo Franchise is the embodiment of all these things. JoJo is literally everything. JoJo is the World itself, no puns. It is
...
a international representation. It exhibits all aspects of the world, it's cultures and all it has to offer. This is why I say this. Araki is and ever beyond his time.
Out of all Parts in the series, Part 4 is the perfect example of what the series is. No matter how much flack it gets. It represents what JoJo truly is and even demonstrates how it will continue to evolve into even greater. It assures that the viewer pays homage to the series previous parts and even accentuates their importance. It is heavily story driven, and even still with this task successfully blossoms with color, a sense of realism, detail, fantasy, fiction, sci-fi, brilliant stand battles, etc. It contains this seamless flow that is impossible to not enjoy. It introduces really well designed characters and stands such as Kira and Rohan, Terunosuke Miyamoto, or Echoes and Heaven's Door; which in my personal opinion are insanely genius works of Araki. Moreover, there is this sense of resourcefulness in every character that you begin to see appreciate as the story unfolds. This meticulousness that is somehow sensational. On top of all this, Araraki does what he does best---having the ability to take a basic concept and make it seem as if you've never seen it before, hence exotic. It's able to maintain this eccentric, thrilling, interesting demeanor so flawlessly. This is why JoJo is on a higher echelon of quality. This is what JoJo is and that's why there's truly nothing like it.

Nichijou is no doubt one of the best comedies, if not the best comedy to be made in this past decade. It does a really good job taking a slice of life and turning it into something unorthodox. It creates this sort of aesthetic flare with its dynamic art style, which essentially establishes and creates a classic comedic atmosphere. It takes random, and turns it into bizarre and extraordinary. It doesn't only accentuate comedy through what characters say and do, but also with the atmosphere and world itself. It is encapsulated and is ever overflowing with a very inventive world. It intertwines realistic and fiction
...
making it appear as if they are all the same. It's jokes are very fluid, giving the itself an unpredictable approach every step of the way, which is very much need in comedy. It fuses gag, light satire, moe, and so on in the in one of the best ways done "ever". With all these qualities, I am sure you will always find yourself constantly reminiscing back on its highlights which is pretty much the entirety of the show. The show stands out from others with minimal effort and can be easily considered a classic and re-watchable. Thanks to KyoAni, future shows on the comedic road will always have a great and upstanding example of what comedy at it's prime really is.

In my personal opinion its a very much enjoyable show in all aspects. A rating of 10 can't even begin to show how good this anime is. There's never a dull moment in the show whatsoever. It delivers one of the biggest trains of hype surge ever in anime in my personal opinion and does a good job utilizing and merging its entailed genres, and even has an epic plot with a unique direction. This show is sort of a "Shounen" in its own right. It solely surrounded by the theme of going from boy to man and strengthening friendships. Utilizing masculine tropes and themes
...
and even bonds between for instance Kamina and Simon. Kamina being the more masculine role, sets an example for his "brother" Simon. Their Mecha combination solely represents this. It is encapsulated by things of these varieties and essentially creating a overall theme asking, "How manly can you become? How much might and spirit can you manifest and conjure up in order to get the job done?" This anime can definitely be compared to Horihiko Ararki's "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure" series, as they pretty much both revolve around these same ideas, which are really good examples of what the shounen genre should be at its core. It is indeed a hell of a ride that I definitely suggest be ridden whenever you have time.
