Born Arthur Edward Jones in Washington, Pennsylvania, USA.

Jones found a job at a service station at the cross-streets of Laurel and Sunset in Los Angeles. The station is still there. He discovered acting when a friend invited him to an acting class, and was offered a job as an apprentice in summer stock. He was such a novice that he had only seen one play prior to his first stage appearance. His theatrical career spans over 45 years during which he has appeared in over 250 plays. On Broadway, he played George Sikowski in “That Championship Season”, and Sheriff McKinstry in “Devour the Snow”. Off-Broadway, productions at the Manhattan Theatre Club, Playwrights Horizons, The Public Theatre, The Hudson Guild, Ensemble Studio Theatre (lifetime member), The Vineyard Theatre, Promenade, Theatre at St. Clement’s, Michael Bennett Theatre, and The Manhattan Punchline. Not to mention a national tour of “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf” as Nick with Nancy Kelly as Martha.

Jones currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife, director Anita Khanzadian-Jones. His interests include involvement with the Interact Theatre Company.
