New 'Gochuumon wa Usagi desu ka' Anime Announced

The 10th Anniversary Special Event Rabbit House Talk Party 2025 for Gochuumon wa Usagi desu ka? (Is the Order a Rabbit?) announced a new anime on Saturday.

The first television anime by White Fox debuted in Spring 2014. Kinema Citrus co-produced the second season with White Fox in Fall 2015. The Sing for You special episode and the Dear My Sister original video anime by production doA premiered in November 2017 and September 2019, respectively.

Gochuumon wa Usagi desu ka? Bloom (Is the Order a Rabbit? Bloom), the third season and latest installment in the franchise by Encourage Films (now Kachigarasu), aired in Fall 2020. Crunchyroll and HIDIVE streamed the anime with subtitles.

Sentai Filmworks licensed all three anime seasons in North America and released them on home video in July 2015, April 2017, and March 2022.

The anime series adapts Koi's slice of life comedy manga, also known as GochiUsa, which began in Manga Time Kirara MAX in January 2011. The manga briefly ran in Animedia from April to June 2014 before switching back to its original magazine. Houbunsha published the 12th volume in March 2024.

Sol Press licensed the manga in English in November 2020 and released the first volume in December that year before going defunct the following October. Yen Press relicensed the manga in April 2024 and published the second volume on February 18. The third volume is planned for a June 24 release.

So this is basically s4 assuming its just a normal 12 ep season?

@Piromysl @Tropisch the poster is from 10th anniversary event, it has nothing to do with the anime itself. And nothing about idols either. They're in the celebration party dresses.

@gensogrips I remember the times when Gochiusa was considered the ideal of the CGDCT title. Interesting whether they have preserved it now.

I hope it's a fourth season. Plus, I'm glad we're getting more of this.

And I'm also glad the manga is finally getting more volumes released in English (for the longest time, only the first volume had an English release, and volumes beyond the first volume never got translated and released, until recently, where the second volume finlly got an English release 4 years after the first volume).
