Main Cast, Staff, Teaser Promo of 'Sanda' Revealed for Fall 2025

The official website of the Sanda television anime revealed the main cast, staff, a teaser promo, and second teaser visual (pictured) on Wednesday. Produced by Science SARU, the anime series adapting Paru Itagaki's action mystery manga will air in Fall 2025.

Voice actors Ayumu Murase (Ousama Ranking) and Hiroki Touchi (Sousou no Frieren) are starring as Sanda Kazushige and Santa Claus, respectively.

Music: Tomoyuki Tanaka (FPM) (Superflat Monogram)

Itagaki began drawing the manga in Weekly Shounen Champion in July 2021, approximately nine months after completing Beastars. The manga ended its three-year run on July 11. Akita Shoten published the 16th and final volume on October 8.

@alpha_shadow I also hate Orange for adapting Beastars. They should have dropped that project and instead keep working on Land of Lustrous.

Fitting that we get this announcement just in time for Christmas. Dandadan S2 next summer, followed by this next Fall, looks like Science Saru is getting that work.

Man I'm so done with the anime industry, this is the treatment Beastars deserved, not that meh CG adaptation that crapped over the original art style of the manga.

As for this manga, IDK what to think about it, I tried reading it and I found the characters to be insufferable. I do appreciate the weird as fuck storyline, but I genuinely have no idea if this is gonna work out or not lol.

Beaststars is a pretty good adaptation by one of the best cg studios the industry has to offer, so saying it shouldve looked like this is a bit wierd no?

man, those visuals inmediatly took part of the fondess I had for the Beastars anime. thats how the adaptation should have looked.

i wonder if this is gonna be a complete anime adaptation if so it will take like 4 cours for the anime since its 140 chapters total
