Light Novel 'Isekai Mokushiroku Mynoghra' Gets TV Anime

Publishing company Micro Magazine announced a television anime adaptation of Fefu Kazuno's Isekai Mokushiroku Mynoghra: Hametsu no Bunmei de Hajimeru Sekai Seifuku (Apocalypse Bringer Mynoghra: World Conquest Starts with the Civilization of Ruin) light novel on Sunday.

Kazuno began penning the adventure fantasy light novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in 2017. Micro Magazine published the first volume under its GC Novels imprint in November 2019, featuring illustrations by Jun. The sixth volume went on sale in April 2023, with the seventh scheduled to go on sale on June 28. The series has a cumulative 450,000 copies of its volumes in circulation.

Yasaiko Midorihana began drawing a manga adaptation on the ComicWalker web manga portal in March 2020. Kadokawa shipped the fifth volume in November 2023.

Cross Infinite World licensed the light novel in English in March 2021, with Yen Press licensing the manga this January. The sixth volume of the novel shipped on March 29. The first manga volume went on sale on June 18.

Synopsis
Takuto Ira succumbed to illness at a young age and ended up reincarnating in a world that resembles the fantasy turn-based strategy game Eternal Nations. Not only did he reincarnate into his favorite game, but as the god who commands the evil civilization Mynoghra. With Mynoghra's beautiful hero unit, Sludge Witch Atou by his side, not even legendarily difficult race traits will stand in the way of restarting their civilization! (Source: Cross Infinite World)

@RobertBobert They would just default to calling those bad fantasies "native isekai" (I HATE, HATE, this idiotic term very much).

Mynoghria huh!? I don't know whether this will make a good anime... The MC and his subordinaes is pretty boring, don't expect interesting chara like in Overlord. And the synopsys lied, unlike Nazarick's which stays true to being evil, Mynoghria is a herd faction (think about Zergs), which supposed to be naturally evil, but somehow is good natured in reality. That's why you shouldn't compare it to Overlord's edginess, or you'll be disapointed.

@Ionliosite2 maybe, but then isekai haters will lose the opportunity to blame the isekai market for any problems in the industry.

Most isekai are bad not for being isekai, but because their writing suck, removing the isekai aspect and making it a straight fantasy won't improve them.

Someone should make a chart that shows how many Isekai get green-light each day, it's literally just a spam of them now. Maybe they'd be worth something if they were just pure fantasy without the reincarnation part.
