'Shy 2nd Season' Unveils Additional Cast, First Promo

The official website of the Shy 2nd Season television anime unveiled additional cast, opening theme, the first promo, and a key visual (pictured) on Thursday. The television anime is scheduled to premiere on July 2 at 12:00 a.m. on TV Tokyo's six stations, followed by BS NTV, NST, and AT-X.

Century: Wataru Hatano (Boku no Hero Academia 2nd Season)
Tokimaru: Hiro Shimono (Kimetsu no Yaiba)
Quabara: Izumi Kitta (Cardfight!! Vanguard)

PassCode is performing the opening theme "WILLSHINE," which is previewed in the promotional video below.

Masaomi Andou (Kanata no Astra) is directing the television anime at 8bit. Yuuichi Tanaka (Toaru Majutsu no Index) is the main character designer. Risa Takai (Tensura Nikki: Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken) and Akihiro Sueta (Shy) are the character designers. Yasuhiro Nakanishi (Mato Seihei no Slave) is handling the series composition and script, and Hinako Tsubakiyama (Sabikui Bisco) is composing the music.

Shy adapts Bukimi Miki's action drama manga, which began as a one-shot that won the Newcomer's Grand Prize in Akita Shoten's Next Champion in 2016. The manga began serializing in Weekly Shounen Champion in August 2019. The 24th volume was released on May 8, and the 25th volume is scheduled to be released on July 8.

Yen Press licensed the manga in English in July 2022. The sixth volume went on sale on April 16, with the seventh volume scheduled for a July 23 release.

@EcchiGodMamster from what i heard from manga readers the ninja arc which is this one have more action and much more intresting

Glad to know my female fighting anime are still hanging on, even if one of these is a trap

And hopefully this has way more action than s1
