'Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san' Manga Ends in Three Chapters

Kodansha's Magazine Pocket app announced on Tuesday that 774's (Nanashi) Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san (Don't Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro) manga is ending in three chapters. Chapter 154 will conclude the manga's seven-year run.

774 posted a prototype of the titular character Nagatoro on Pixiv in August 2011. The slice of life comedy manga began serializing on the Magazine Pocket appli in November 2017. Kodansha published the 19th volume on April 9.

Telecom Animation Film adapted the manga into a 12-episode television anime in Spring 2021. A second season produced by OLM aired in Winter 2023. Crunchyroll streamed the anime series with subtitles and dubs in multiple languages.

Kodansha USA licensed the manga in English in October 2018 for digital and print releases and released the 16th volume on April 30. The 17th volume is planned for an August 27 release.

Synopsis
High schooler Hayase Nagatoro loves to spend her free time doing one thing, and that is to bully her Senpai! After Nagatoro and her friends stumble upon the aspiring artist's drawings, they find enjoyment in mercilessly bullying the timid Senpai. Nagatoro resolves to continue her cruel game and visits him daily so that she can force Senpai into doing whatever interests her at the time, especially if it makes him uncomfortable.

Slightly aroused by and somewhat fearful of Nagatoro, Senpai is constantly roped into her antics as his interests, hobbies, appearance, and even personality are used against him as she entertains herself at his expense. As time goes on, Senpai realizes that he doesn't dislike Nagatoro's presence, and the two of them develop an uneasy friendship as one patiently puts up with the antics of the other. @Ionliosite2 Past chapters 12? In my subjective opinion, the anime second season already has almost gotten rid of most of this in favor of the tsundere gyaru rom-com.

Finally . Now that this manga is almost finished really hope the next manga from this mangaka will not be a bullying simulator and just a normal teasing manga like Uzaki or just simple romance manga or even an isekai .

It's nice that it won't get stretched out for who knows how may chapters, but man I was hoping to see more story about nagatoro sister or maybe see Gamo try to make any advance with the brother.

@Metalfire35 You don't have to worry about that, they're almost finish the story at the moment.

@AddaeAkono You can compare it to battle shonens from the 10s. Almost all the hits started and ended around the same time, the rest depends on whether other manga artists continue it.

Can't say that I'm surprised since we got a confession a couple of chapters ago. I was hoping that the manga was going to on Nagatoro's friends and the rest of the side characters.

Seems like the end of an era for the holy trinity of the teasing genre, even Uzaki-chan seems to be on the verge of wrapping things up.

Well. We were thinking and debating whether or not it will show them through college or after that. But who knows

I also hope they won't rush things out. This was the first random manga I picked up years ago. Hoping that it will have a good conclusive ending
