'Kami no Tou' 2nd Season Announces New Staff, Supporting Cast, Theme Songs

The Kami no Tou (Tower of God) special stage at the Bandai Namco Group Stage at AnimeJapan 2024 announced new staff, additional cast, and theme songs for the second season on Saturday. The new season adapting SIU's adventure fantasy manhwa will begin airing in July 2024.

J-pop group NiziU (Doraemon: Nobita to Sora no Utopia) is performing the opening and ending themes.

Tower of God began in the Naver Webtoon (now Line Webtoon) webcomic portal in July 2010. Naver began releasing the chapters in English in June 2014 and in Japanese in 2018. The publisher shipped the 14th volume on January 30.

I'm surprised there are almost no comments here, I remember season 1 being pretty popular.

This could go well but I'm on edge if I'm going to speak truthfully. I'm no expert when it comes to this stuff so for all i know the staff are more that competent, however it doesn't seem that way (mainly for the directing side of the staff)

I've been waiting 4 years for this, that's why i'm on edge, because i don't want this to end up being shit is all.

no hate to the staff of course, as i said, they may be great, i just don't think it looks good when looking at their past works.

Let's hope this is a great season:)
