'Kimi wa Meido-sama.' Reveals Main Cast, Staff, Teaser Promo for Fall 2024
The official website of the Kimi wa Meido-sama. (You Are Ms. Servant) television anime revealed the main cast, staff, a teaser visual (pictured), and teaser promo on Thursday. The anime series adapting Shotan's comedy slice of life manga will begin airing on TV Asahi and its 24 affiliate stations' NUMAnimation programming block and BS Asahi in October 2024.
Voice actors Toshiki Kumagai (Yu☆Gi☆Oh! Go Rush!!) and Reina Ueda (Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon) are starring as Hitoyoshi Yokoya and Yuki (Xue), respectively.

Shotan originally published the first two chapters at the COMITIA doujinshi convention in August 2019 and February 2020. The manga began official serialization in Sunday Webry in June 2020. Shogakukan released the seventh volume on January 12. Kimi wa Meido-sama. has a cumulative 600,000 copies of its volumes in circulation.

Ayumu Watanabe working on this has raised my interest. I enjoyed his work on KoiAme and Komi-San, so I think I'll enjoy this too.

@EcchiGodMamster Because the 90s and 00s were the heyday of cool action about bishoujo that championed everydude MC. Apparently the Japanese, like people in the West, began to miss the old tropes and premises. In the '10s, these kinds of shows were supplanted by the all-female version, where the cool shonen-ish tomboy defends her girly-ish "best friend," because such a premise helped add more moe and female characters.
