Synopsis
Not a lot of people know that one of the most talented and ruthless Mahjong players in the city is a young high school boy. Kei is a teenager of few words, but his observation skills, unwavering will, and experience in the game allow him to survive in a world full of powerful, rich, and dangerous characters. Kei is currently hiding a girl named Amina who has entered the country illegally and protecting her from being deported. He spends his days sleeping through class and his nights playing high stakes Mahjong, waiting for when a worthy opponent arrives. (Source: MangaHelpers)

@Denji Considering how popular mahjong is in Southeast Asia, I'm surprised that these shows make up almost two-thirds of themed anime overall. Although we have dozens of shows about baseball, football/basketball, etc. Also, I don’t know how serious MC’s resemblance to Eren and the theme of illegal immigration are in the manga, but I can already see how it will receive additional focus in the media.

Wow, that's the third mahjong anime this year (after Pon no Michi and Jantama Kan!!), and apparently the first "serious" one since Saki: Zenkoku-hen 10 years ago. What a time to be alive. I remember this series being pretty edgy so I'm not sure if I want to watch it or not, but I probably will anyways.

The more mahjong anime the better.

This sounds like something I'll love! I'm always on board for more mahjong with high stakes.

All right, we're in for another psychological attack.
