I was only here because it was really funny, but then the characters were good and the story turned out nicely. Thumbs up.

This one was long overdue, it's probably been almost 10 years since I first saw it and wanted to read it. Many of the stories have a fun art style with an emphasis on cross-hatching over regular shading, and I particularly enjoyed the more low-key slice of life stories that presented some really cozy imagery (my personal favorites were stories 1, 6, 7, 8, and 12). The other stories that were more comedic or even ecchi did have some good moments, but didn't hook me nearly as much. The short ones that were published in themed anthologies (stories 2, 4, and 8) are pretty obvious in particular. Still, it was a fun collection of stories to read, and helped me break through some manga doldrums, so I'm going to remember it fondly.
