TV Anime 'Senryuu Shoujo' Announces Additional Cast Members

The official website for the previously announced Senryuu Shoujo TV anime has announced additional cast members. The anime is slated for Spring 2019 via Anime-ism timeslot on MBS, TBS, and BS-TBS. A cast member that was announced through a PV released on December 24, 2018 has also included for convenience.

Amane Katagiri: Sayuri Yahagi (Senran Kagura Shinovi Master: Tokyo Youma-hen)
Koto Ootsuki: Rikako Aida (Love Live! Sunshine!!)
Kino Yakobe: Misaki Kuno (Happy Sugar Life)
Tao Hanakai: Sumire Uesaka (BanG Dream! series)

The manga is pretty bad but it strikes me as something that might work a lot better as an anime (probably what the author was going for)

Crossing my fingers it'll be a decent watch.

Oh no, please don't me wrong—if there's romance then I am definitely going to enjoy this work. It's just that there wasn't a romance tag and stories I've read with similar themes were pretty disappointing romance-wise.

It's shounen. But the premise is simple.

side note: there are many contemporary mangaka who are big fans of senryuu shoujo. Like Haruba Negi of Gotoubun and Miyajima Reiji of Kanojo Okarishimasu.

Senryuu Shoujo? No, it really isn't. It's a Slice of Life comedy. There's no focus on romance and I doubt we'll see it happening until the end. It's not a romcom.

So, your definition of romance is it would need to be mutual? Okay. We move on.

It's not even an actual romance tho.

It's just a Slice of Life / Shoujo series (at least from what I've read).
