TV Anime 'Poputepipikku' Gets New TV Special

Poputepipikku Special Event: Pop Cast Epic held this weekend has announced on Sunday that a new TV special episode of Poputepipikku TV anime will be broadcast on April 1 of next year.

Poputepipikku is a 4-koma manga by bkub Ookawa, which began serialization via Manga Life Win since August 2014. TV anime has been broadcast in this winter by Kamikaze Douga for total of 12 episodes. Each episode consists of a 12-minute segment repeated twice. The repeated segment contains a different voiceover by a set of two seiyuus with variations on the skits.

Nico Live will live stream 12 eps. of TV series on March 31 (30 hour, 5 times loop!!), followed by new ep. on April 1 (same time as TV anime on 22:00).

The news came after the PTE special event so it seems legit.

@tsubasalover Sorry for a mention but could you correct the typos in the news? It's bothering me to see "Poputepippiku" instead of "Poputepipikku". D:

Just felt that i should point the mistake out(to be fair, it took me some time to learn to remember the Japanese name of it right :P).

No, Poputepipikku 2 was nothing, people jumped the gun way too fast because of the Hoshiro girl drop season 2 at the end.

The producer said in a recent interview with ANN that they didn't plan to do a season 2 for now but hes open to it if there's enough people who want it.

Of course, since it is Pop team epic, maybe its possible that April 1 is some kind of troll and boom its the beginning of season 2 or some shit.
