Talent agency Crocodile has announced on Friday that seiyuu Saori Murakita will leave the agency and retire from being a seiyuu at the end of September.

Murakita was the first member to leave the seiyuu unit Earth Star Dream in May 2015, representing the color purple. She moved to Crocodile in 2016 to continue being a seiyuu. As a member of the seiyuu unit, she voiced minor characters in Ketsuekigata-kun 2 and Teekyuu 4. She also performed Ketsuekigata-kun 2 opening and ending theme songs with other unit members. Her "major" roles after leaving the unit were Ain Hinosaki from Nazotokine, Gurumi from Love Kome: We Love Rice, and more. Her final role was An Nanri from Rokuhoudou Yotsuiro Biyori. She voiced two minor characters in an app. game Soukoku no Elysium: Hikari to Yami no Rinne. She was also active in radio shows and events.

Minor detail: according to that linked page, "Saori Murakita (graduated on May 16, 2015)." Thanks :)

is there any reason why she retired ? she looks young

My guess would be that she decided it wasn't worth continuing that "career path" after four years of nothing but minor roles in minor shows, and/or her talent agency made the decision to let her go. The latter was the threat looming over the main character in this show:
https://myanimelist.net/anime/29163/Sore_ga_Seiyuu
(It's an uplifting show though)

It would be weird, though not unbelievable, for her agency to make that call just after she got her first role in a full length show (all prior shows mentioned had had 2-7 minute episodes). Because of that I would guess it was her choice. I put "career path" in quotes, because she must have been making the equivalent of a few hundred dollars a year at most from seiyuu work. So then I'd figure, why not keep going? But that involves the hassle of going to auditions, and the constant discouragement of failing all of them (Shirobako), so no wonder if she'd had enough of it.

(These anime are not documentaries, but where they are negative, you can bet real life is as bad or worse.)

Or maybe she got married and started a family (some Japanese people still do that these days?), the possibilities are endless. But I would assume the announcement would include a happy reason like that, which is why I'd guess something more cynical.

I'm fairly certain nobody in this site knew her. She doesn't even have a MAL page of her own.

@tsubasalover Honestly, who cares. There wasnt even a MAL page for her, so are there honestly people in the English-speaking world who care about her failed career?

She looks like a legitimate crown princess.
