Right off the bat, I was a bit skeptical of the premise. But let me tell you, this is a very cute and character driven story. I loved every second of it.

Story: 9 The premise is two random strangers meeting up for dinner to talk about their past relationships. Initially, its because they don't want to eat alone, but they grow to know and warm up to each other.

Art: 8 Classic manhua, no real problems. Characters are still drawn well enough so that you will like them lol.

Character: 10 Honestly, the best part of the story is that is character driven, and both leads learn ... about their flaws within a relationship before any true progress in their development is made.

Enjoyment: 9 I was waiting to learn every little detail of the main's past relationships, and it was really enjoyable throughout.

Overall: 9 I recommend giving this one a read, it's a really fun and light read.

STORY: Basically two people meeting up together to try out new foods and restaurants every weekend. This story was completely realistic, smooth sailing and well paced. From start to end, I was hooked. You might think it will be predictable and boring but it was, in fact, very well written. Though you're sure to get hungry reading this.

CHARACTERS: Probably, the best thing about this Manhwa. Both characters had their conflicts, insecurities, even strength points that you can relate to. To be honest, at some point I felt they were actual people, every choice and action made was understandable and didn't seem like it was ... for the sake of plot progress. Character development was definitely there, and definitely welcome.

ART: It was good. I kind of felt there was a lack of expressions but I always get that feeling while reading Manhwas.
OVERALL: A fun read that I finished in one sitting. I recommend this to everyone.

The type of manhwa you'd see being adapted into live action.

All aspects are to par with your typical korean dramas with the male characters being all beautiful to the eyes & story that is carefully calculated to manipulate--hm, I don't think this is the correct word to describe it--oh, please, target viewers into their liking. Oh, and of course I am part of their target viewer. Lord, if only I was lucky enough to have such a fateful encounter in life. *sighs*

Story: 7. Seen enough stories about encounters between strangers that ultimately be continued to fulfill each of their own needs. Specific josei genre with ... both leads already settled on their own & working everyday for a living, but have this “missing thing” in life. But it lacked a bit of detail, I guess to speed up the story.

Art: 7. Yeah-ok pretty manhwa style, especially the males are all good-looking. Backgrounds are templates.

Character: 8. Relatable. Sometimes boring because it’s just too relatable (why is relatable boring? I don’t know.) but that's just how most people are in life so I accept. There aren’t any rash decisions and pretty ok-realistic to me. Oh, and there’s a gay character.

Enjoyment: 8. The author is a tailor, she (he?) knows how to knit an overall cute story. It’s simple, it doesn't have many chapters, and it worked towards delivering the core of the story enough to be finished overnight.


It was still a satisfying late-night escape.
