Preachy and shallow.
What is the message here? That TV is bad? That we shouldn't let people die in front of our eyes? Yeah, everyone knows this stuff, it's the most superficial possible criticism of society. It's ironic that the author would choose to adopt the aesthetic of Don Quixote, because this manga feels like someone tilting at windmills. There is a bit of an overarching story but it's not really relevant and I'm not sure why it was included. I don't recommend this manga, obviously. There is no real reason to read this manga, you will get nothing out of it that you couldn't get by listening ... |
