Both are by the same author. Not exactly a sequel but Kanojo ga Cafe is set in the same cafe and its events happen couple of years before those Kare ga Cafe. Both were nice quick reads =D

Both are a series of love stories about different characters. One from a Cafe and the other from a Hospital.

Both female protaganists in the first story become male waiters due to their high popularity with female customers. Though they are reluctant, they continue their job due to an attraction to a male co-worker.

Both are about a high school girl with an unconventionally attractive aesthetic who visits a shop at the suggestion of her friend, falls in love at first sight with an employee who is kind to her, and, wanting to spend more time with him and make some money in the process, ends up working there as well. They go in slightly different directions from that point, but the similar premise and the ongoing romantic element in each provide a substantial common ground.
