Horror manga create an atmosphere of unease. Like Mystery manga, they encourage viewers to learn more about their world... but there may be secrets that are better left unexplored. Through eerie music and sounds, visceral or disturbing imagery, or startling moments, works of Horror make you worry about what gruesome thing is coming next.

This subgenre of horror intentionally focuses on grotesque or psychologically disturbing violations of the body. From disease to dismemberment the core of it is what can happen to the human body. It is not unusual for this to also include sexual, alien infestation, strange movements, transformations, and utter destruction of the human body, However I will try to save some of those manga for Ero-Guro

Abstract, odd, weird manga I found.

Yo besties, I've been having a challenge of reading short manga.
so I thought of creating interest stacks for this challenge.
Some of the manga I've listed in the challenge aren't in MAL so I will list them in the description.
Each set (currently there are 15, and it continues) has 49 entries, and the manga vary in genres and popularity.
All of the manga are 1-5 volumes long, and I would love to see other people participating in this challenge!

Arthropods, from Ancient Greek: arthron ('joint') and pous ('foot'), are invertebrates in the phylum Arthropoda. They possess an exoskeleton with a cuticle made of chitin, often mineralised with calcium carbonate, a body with differentiated (metameric) segments, and paired jointed appendages. They are an extremely diverse group, with up to 10 million species¹. It's the largest phylum in the animal kingdom, which includes such familiar forms as lobsters, crabs, spiders, mites, insects, centipedes, and millipedes. Manga featuring Arthropods as the main resource to cause fear, discomfort, disgust, and repulse (or at least it has an important role in this at some point). Mainly horror/suspense.

Series that cause what I call "Twisted euphoria"

Series that make me ecstatic to be alive, grinning from ear to ear or laughing like a maniac, despite (or rather, because of) how effed up parts of them are, in conjunction with how not-effed-up other parts of them are.
It's kinda like how Baio Rin from 100 Girlfriends reacts to certain things.

Cute girls killing people with a smile,
magical girls committing sudoku,
beautiful worlds full of haunting ghosts, etc.

As an example of what I mean, Doki Doki Literature Club had me smiling from ear to ear the whole way through. Even moreso in the second half than the first.
Fujimi Lovers is a perfect example in terms of manga.
The Mesmerizer Miku song is another good example.
