Synopsis

On a rainy day in early spring, Miyu rescues Chobi, a kitten, from a cold, wet alley. There are many aspects Chobi cannot comprehend about humans, but one thing is for certain: his love for his human companion is immeasurable. Despite being indifferent about the ways of the human world, Chobi's day always begins and ends with Miyu.

Although Miyu carries a heavy burden that she masks with a smile, Chobi is there to keep her worries at bay, never shying away from showing his unending affection.

The story is told by the cat Chobi's perspective and shows how much he loves his owner. Whenever she's having a hard time, her cat listens and understands something is bothering her but doesn't know the reason. She is worn out and is not coping well with the pressure of being a new adult. He sees when she is crying her heart out but unable to speak, he just stays by her side when he is thinking of how much of a good person she is. This is probably the most worth it and the best 4 chapters that I've ever read. The Art, the use of composition in panels, each panel shots and just the overall story is a match made in heaven.

The fact the we're looking at the perspective of the cat telling the story of his owner was for me a very "unique" and interesting way of storytelling, cats often have confusing personalities but Chobi (the cat) feels more human-like but at the same time empty. He often monolouges about his owner and that's how we get into the story, we get to see Miyu (His Owner) ...

If u strong independent woman or feminist, or a man who is into this things, go ahead read it.
But this story is sad not because of poor little kitty adopted but a very lonely girl with problems.
Like grafic is great, all is quite good. But point of this story?

Point of story. Im sad. I take abandoned cat. Life is good, then life hits hard because my loneliness. So Im not gonna give any chance to anybody to love me. And life is great again cause Im independent woman with cat. Happy end.
