Mixed Feelings
This manga art is good. But the story line is not. There a shift in tone and genre. Which makes it goes from horro to detective with horror elements. Ethier seting would have work. Going from one tone to another not only weakens it. It means the author had to disregard the mystery he was going for in one character.
Provide it stay the same. The demon charaters abilities didn't chane. It not like horrible the art kinda of makes up for theess that is the storyline, but not all the way. The characters are well drawn in most instances. Some fine details are there. ...

Preliminary (3/14 chp)
A little known gem, this manga gets a lot of things right - suspense, engaging characters, involved and intricate supernatural elements, and above average gore. The main character may seem a bit of a mary sue, but I feel that her backstory and relationship with Jack would have made for an excellent stepping board for development. The setting is great, nothing beats this time period for creating a world that a lot of western readers will both recognize and at the same time find completely alien. The devil lives in Georgia, and playing to the religious psuedo-mythology of the South is a great base for ...
