I usually like these types of stories where a normal girl ends up serving the king but Azafareo no Sobayounin just took a chiché story and made it more chiché and predictable.
The characters aren't really interesting or original either, our protagonist Lukul is the usual innocent and sincere girl with a low self-esteem, King Julius is cold on the outside but kind and protective, and there's not much to say about the secondary characters: we have the king's right hand that helps the protagonist and some other that even if they are bad people, they end up changing to good because of Lukul.
