This starts off absolutes amazingly, but then it peters off into a sappy, boring ending. Still, I'd say it's worth a read for the first 2 volumes alone. It's fun and doesn't have an intimidating length.

The characters are not really developed super well, since this is so short, so it's hard to talk about them too much, but most are fairly surface level with their personalities.

It's best to treat this one like a B-Horror movie you find on Netflix. It's great for a quick read.

I see some people saying to "drop this." To that, I say, just finish it if you already started it. ... It's only 3 volumes. Don't quit so easily.

I would like to start off by saying this manga is one of the most original works of horror I've ever encountered. I expected it to have at least a 7.5 rating. I know most are not fans of horror, and if they are they are very critical. But there's not much to be critical about here. I would say, contrary to others, this manga has very good pacing. I always wanted to turn to the next page and see what strange things might happen next. The art is beautifully grotesque, the settings are nerve-racking, and the characters are interesting enough, likable enough for you ... to be concerned about them in this suddenly inflicted hellscape. Deaths and tragic events do not come off as just for pure shock-factor, instead, each death drives the plot in its intended direction. There's no filler or unnecessary dialogue here. Every page is dedicated to making you feel uneasy and suspenseful through the motions the characters go through.
The story itself, in my opinion, has a great resolution. It feels right, and leaves the reader satisfied. The events leading up to it feel right. I didn't look back and think there were any glaring plot holes. There's twists and turns that keep you interested. The art is unique and amazing. If you like horror, or you're just getting into it, I would definitely recommend this manga!

I went into this expecting a horror survival thriller, and ended up getting a pretty generic shounen that just happens to be gory.

The plot itself, is rather silly, and I feel like it had some promise. The monsters were also rather silly, but the art and designs of them helped carry it pretty heavily and I feel like the author did the best with what he had and all he could do with it but sadly that doesn't really stop it from being pretty meh. He really boxed himself in with mascot premise, and it limited what exactly he could do and how far ... it could be taken.

The manga suffered from some very apparent pacing issues as well, it seems like this manga could have been about double it's actual length and been better off for it the ending is very rushed and the pacing is breakneck. I honestly feel rather thankful for the rushed pacing though, because I personally didn't care much for the story at all but I'm sure for those of you that may like it; the pacing will be a con for you.

The characters are generic, and the while the art is a cut above your average manga the designs really drag down that are supposed to be some emotional moments in the latter half of the series. It makes it very hard to take seriously, and I feel like it the climax was ruined by that. The pacing just made it even more apparent.

All in all, it's such a short manga and manages to be so average that reading this won't be much of a loss for you regardless. I think I read it in about an hour, maybe a tiny bit more because I was multitasking. Read it if you have time to kill, but there's certainly better ways to be spending that time if your PTR is backed up.
