Don't think about getting the "real" school rumble out of this manga: School Rumble ended in the 283rd chapter. This is only some crappy redemption done by the otherwise great author for abruptly ending the great series.
We can only dream of Harima and Yakumo now, huh...

School Rumble Z is a sequel of School Rumble.

This is a collection of oneshots with different stories that is far from the main story line of school rumble. The characters are the same on school rumble even the they have different roles every chapter.

It's a diffrent storyline but still the comedy is always there that will make your day complete.

I can't stop laughing...

School Rumble Z is your dessert for the incredible School Rumble epic.

Needless to say, the original series is required reading for anyone wanting to read this series, since a lot of the humor is in the characters' personalities.

Although made up of the original characters, for the most part, the stories are unrelated to the main plot. Although some chapters might be considered canon without conflicting with the main story.

In particular, the last few chapters try to provide some closure to the story. Not to give anything away, but in my opinion, school rumble Z's ending is definitely more satisfying than how it ended ...

*This is my first time to write a review so please cut me some slack =P*
First of all for those who are planning to read this manga, let me just make it clear that just because it has 'Z' added, its not like Dragon Ball Z or something like the DBZ parody in the anime.

--Well Enough about that. SRZ (School Rumble Z) still follows the everyday life of Harima Kenji and the misunderstandings between him and Temna and Eri! But unlike 'School Rumble', SRZ doesn't follow the setting of highschool.
Every chapter of School Rumble Z has a different setting and the characters gets a different ...

I started out watching the School Rumble anime (English sub, I unfortunately don’t understand the Japanese language) and really just expected it to be what it appeared to be – a funny comedy anime. I was partially right about that, but also VERY wrong. School Rumble, on the surface, doesn’t seem very serious. But so many things underneath the surface of it are very serious and insightful and even deeply moving. Soon after starting the anime I was hooked, and almost immediately related to Harima Kenji and began cheering him on to accomplish his goal. Throughout the beginning and middle of the series we see ...

I finished the anime a long time ago and just recently came back to rewatching the anime. After remembering how much I hated the ending of the anime with the "3rd" season I wanted to look for closure with the manga.

After reading School Rumble Z, although I wished it was longer it at least provided closure to alot of the character lines which the anime did not do AT ALL. I would of loved a longer series but I understand that the writer probably didn't have to write this but he did so for the fans i'm assuming. All that to say i'll take what ...
