Are you a sucker for Heaven's Feel route of F/SN? Do you feel like the movies - great as they were, omitted too much from a VN that's 80+ hours?
Well, then, the manga can fill in some spots and provide you with yet another serialization for a fuller Heaven's Feel experience.
The manga is sandwiched between the source material and the movies regarding background info, lore, 'richness' of the scenes, and any additional context you might need. It doesn't spell out everything for you, but it does shed some light on some Nasu concepts and fills in some blanks where you'd be like 'How the fuck
...
did this come to be and why?' if you stuck to the movie trilogy only.
Yeah, it also doesn't censor some scenes that were sanitized in the movies (cough chapter 30 cough).
Art-wise, we're looking at a pretty decent rendition of the typical Fate designs. I'm looking forward to some iconic fights to give a more comprehensive score on that, but so far it's 8/10 in the art department.
The only thing I dislike is the short nature of a lot of the chapters. 10-13 page chapters 'cut' the action too much sometimes.
I'm giving it an overall 9/10, but at least 1-2 points are due to the fact that I like the darker, grittier, psychological tone of Heaven's Feel compared to the other routes. It's still a solid 7.5-8/10 for people who prefer any of the two other storylines.
