Yeah yeah, this is guro, I know, how dare the author draw something like that, you've never seen anything like this, you can't even, sure.

I know this whole dance, the encounter with a kind of manga you didn't expect to read, but does guro really deserve the lowest of marks just for being guro? Does a porn deserve to be trash talked just for being porn?

Tasatsu Shigan might have some explicit imaginery, but it isn't really so bad. You could even say that it's creative, in a way. It caters to very unusual fetish of suicide (fetish so obscure it might as well be fabricated), ... but makes the scenario a bit more interesting than just plain death. Perhaps it even touches upon the theme of euthanasia and whether a person has to right to end their own life should they wish to do so. Perhaps that is just looking into it more then the author intended. Who knows. Still, being what it is, it's certainly not bad as a guro manga. There are of course better works, but there are also much, much worse ones. This one could even be labeled as in a twisted way wholesome, and honestly concerning the content, I've read regular horror manga with way worse gore.

I wouldn't say this deserves 1/10 or 2/10 just for simply having some fucked up content.

Somehow I was disappointed by an ero-guro. First I should state that I'm not a gore fetishist, I just enjoy gore in a horror sense and as such have fallen down the ero-guro rabbit whole several times. The first chapter of this manga, though slightly goofy with the JFK stuff, was actually really interesting and reminded me of the movie Hostel which I rather enjoy. However the second chapter completely looses all sense of reality and honestly feels boring. The final chapter then just barely connects to the other two and was such a let down. Ultimately I do not recommend this manga at all ... unless you purely want it for the gore, but even then there is much better content out there.

It’s guro. You can’t expect much from guro. People want to die, they masturbate/have sex while they die.

So this is as long as I can stretch this. Girl wants to die and has a fetish for exploding heads because she watched the JFK assassination (im not making this shit up). She wants to get her brains blown out while she masturbates, so the main girl finds a way to do this. She gets shot, doesn’t die, masturbates while touching her brain, orgasm’s, dies. In a surprisingly kind of wholesome moment before she dies. Then the main girl tries to sell the recording of her ... orgasm and death.
Second, bro and sis have sex then get their heads cut off. But wait, they don’t die, they live, they show how much they love each other, that’s about it.

There kind of tries to be a story? But be honest, if your into this, you aren’t reading for the story. It is kind of wholesome by the end, at least the characters get what they want.
Literally nothing special here. If you like to see a girl literally get her brains blown out while she orgasm’s, go ahead.
