In simple terms, hilarious. This manga is hilariously enjoyable. Even in the sequel ”yawara!” Jigoro is a witty nutcase whose humour is strange, but enjoyable. I can remember the multiple times this manga has made me burst out laughing. If you’re still doubting this manga then go and try it! After the very long, tiring, emotional yawara, jigoro is light hearted and refreshing. I love this manga due to its short length, and its humourous yet touching scenes.
The only thing I disliked about this was the fact that there was no closure to it, but being a prequel it is a common thing.
