Considering that you have already read the synopsis, we can tell that Demokratia by Motoro Mase has an interesting premise. The manga starts off immediately catching the interest of the reader even if it makes you wonder how some things are possible, for example "how do the 3000 people get to decide so fast, in a so detailed way?", in this case it requires an element of fiction to make the story go on. The art is clean and simple with thick lines, Motroro doesn't exaggerate the expressions nor the anatomy of the characters, and thanks to that every scene is perfectly understandable.
During the narration
...
the manga interrogates you about important matters such as: "Why should a vote of an ignorant and a learned should have the same relevance?" " Can rightness be defined? Is it something scientific or it differs from person to person based on each individual moral? ", well if rightness is something scientific it can surely be learned by an AI, and that is one of the topics the manga deals with. There is also a huge critic of the modern society: it is common today that a large portion of the population blames one man, whose ideas were approved by the same portion, for making the overall situation worse. Obviously that behavior makes no sense, but it surely happens. A democratical society is a living contradiction in a positive and negative way. Positive because from the based on the situation and the information that you receive you can change freely your opinion.
Even if the story speaks mostly about politics, romance isn't left behind, and this is an added point. It is also nice that it is told the story of some of the participants of democrat, how their experience with Huyu (the android's name) is able to help them with their private life. Some of the decisions that the characters take seem a bit illogical at times, especially for the antagonists. The ending is exhaustive, except for the last panel, which is quite contradictory with the rest of the final chapter.
Therefore, Demokratia isn't just a good story, Motoro Mase managed to teach something to the reader, something to apply to the practical real life.
