Both are involved with the entertainment industry, and both main girls have some kind of power; in Penguin Revolution Yukari can see the potential of person, while in Cinema Empire Kaori can see the future of a person.

Both are supernatural mangas. In Cinema Empire is just a girl who can see the future, while in Mekakushi no Kuni is a girl and a boy who can see the future, and a boy who can see the past. In both mangas they try to help other people with their powers.

Aren't similar at all, except that they both have a female lead and they have some kind of power. In Blue Ramun the girl is a doctor who can save people by using her blood. In Cinema Empire the girl can see which is the best choice for the future. Both are really nice, definitely recommended ^^

Both are about girls involved in show business and trying their best to succeed (but for vastly different reasons). There are also two handsome guys trying to get the girl. "Skip Beat!" is lighter and has more comedic moments. "Cinema to Teikoku" is more somber. Overall, I like "Skip Beat!" better, but they are both good.
