In both manga, a group of students are forced by a mysterious overseer to form alliances and compete against each other in death games. 

The protagonist and his friends compete in high stakes games, with each opponent having their own uniquely designed game similar to how the death games in Worldend:Debugger are all unique and vary by opponent. 

Another manga where people play death matches against each other, although in this one the only game is a card game where the monsters become real. 

Both focus on video game scenarios; in which characters are transported into game simulations in order to play games of life and death.
