They both involve mind-blowing tragedies and gore. You are never sure what is right and wrong and will care deeply for the main character. Both take place in an alternate universe that is still very relatable

Almost exact same premise of a corporation with the objective to hunt some existential threat to humans. Both have the concept of hunters using the abilities of the threat. Also, characters similar to each (just with different motivations) can be found in both. Note: For Toyko Ghoul:re make sure to read Tokyo Ghoul beforehand.

Both the main characters became aware of that they are beings different from humans, beings that are hated by society. Trying to survive this harsh reality they meet pain, dispair and, finally, their true selfs.

There's only one chapter out right now, but: It's about an evolution of humanity that cannibalizes the human species, It's very dark, it doesn't shy away from death.

The protagonists of both shows live in a world where monsters live among themselves (ghouls) (parasytes). The main characters are somewhat half monster, half human. Both of them are trying to prevent murders or just trying to stop them in general.

In both manga, there is an organization that is dedicated to exterminating a danger to humanity; in Crimson-Shell, Red Rose eliminates Black Roses and in Tokyo Ghoul:re, the CCG eliminates ghouls. One of the strongest members in each organization has similar abilities to the "monsters" that they are trying to exterminate. The "monsters" become sympathetic once you learn about their backstories.

Both the main characters undergo huge changes in their lives, and having to deal with it, whilst at the same time having to live with the knowledge that they are 'monsters'. The main characters are slightly alike.

They are both about the struggles of a main character. Except Alita makes more sense and is shorter.

Both are about half ghouls adapting with human society Both stories focus on how the protagonists discover and utilize their nonhuman characteristics to become stronger and strive towards their goal. Kemono Jihen's protagonist comes to terms with his apotheosis much quicker than kaneki Both mangas have a more darker atmosphere to them, but Kemono Jihen is a bit more feelgood whereas Tokyo Ghoul is more realistic and gritty.
