This could be due to shyness, but also due to a problem with their voices or vocal cords, or another reason why communication is more difficult.

Here are all the shoujo manga I think one should read in order to cover all bases. I organized this list by general theme, with publishing series at the bottom.

We start off with serious drama and slice of life series, then period and fantasy action and war series, then science-fiction series, then magical girl series, then series for younger audiences, then romance comedies, then drama slice of life romances, then horror and supernatural manga, and lastly, important ongoing series.

I'm currently using this list too, despite me being the one who created it!

Here is a list for fellow manga collectors and fans of mahou shoujo, a genre featuring many young girls receiving magical powers and (more often than not) a dress that's as cute as the aesthetic! Can be treated as a rec list for those new to the genre, as it will mainly (and primarily) feature magical girl manga you can find English copies of to read and buy today. Not meant to be a complete/definitive list.

Do note that this list will include magical-girl-adjacent titles, or some fantasy series that aren't usually considered to be part of the genre by some parts of the community—I'll try to put explanations for my reasoning in including them/why I feel they should be considered as a magical girl title... whether you're convinced on the classification or not, hopefully you might still be sold on checking it out regardless.

Physical releases that have been out of print, or will not be printed brand new in stores anymore, will also be included and indicated as such. To find these prints/series, you will need to look outside of your usual bookstores to find used/pre-owned copies. Good luck finding some of these, especially if you're particularly looking for more affordable prices!

Shinigami, literally meaning god of death （死神）, is essentially the Japanese equivalent of the Grim Reaper and is one of the many popular personifications of death. Aside from the obvious, shinigami are also associated with suicide. Here is a selection of manga that features a form of this popular mythical figure in Japanese pop culture.

This list is intended to publicize those manga that have been published (whether they are still available or not) in Mexico related to Mahou Shoujo. The purpose of this list is to generate knowledge about manga in Mexico related to the Magical Girls genre, which is almost non-existent in Mexico.

Manga that looks pretty (the story is secondary). Arranged (roughly) from best to worst, plot-wise. Updated rarely as I don't have time for animanga in general, but still ongoing regardless.

as of August 23rd, 2023 Detective Conan does not have all of its chapters available, chapters 928-1099 are unavailable, so once these chapters do become available I will include Detective Conan to this list
