The Shogakukan Manga Award (小学館漫画賞, Shōgakukan Mangashō) is one of Japan's major manga awards, sponsored by Shogakukan Publishing. It has been awarded annually for serialized manga since 1955 and features candidates from a number of publishers. Each winning work will be honored with a bronze statuette and a prize of 1 million yen (about US$9,000). Special awards are also occasionally given out for outstanding work, lifetime achievement, and so forth. List of SOME mangas that has winning awards in the past. In 2009, Asahi Shimbun announced a polled list of 50 of the greatest 'masterpieces(名作)' of the Shōwa era. The only one not listed on MAL yet is 'Iga no Kagemaru' by Mitsuteru Yokoyama, which was ranked 27th. Jump Ultimate Stars is a fighting video game developed by Ganbarion and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo DS. It is the sequel to Jump Super Stars. The game was released in Japan on November 23, 2006. I asked ChatGPT for the top 50 best manga, here is what I got (couldnt write "top 50 manga" in title as it wouldnt let me post it public) This is the continuation of last part, same as last time. I picked the ones that populars and underrated and which publisher publish it so on and so forth... (Pretend that Harukana Receive is Bushizawa Receive, because I couldn't find that here, so I just picked a manga that looked the closest in name) A list of Toriyama's manga published in Brazil, in order of release date. A lot more Jump manga from the 80's were (fully) translated to English's when compared to the 70's - enjoy. |
