The male leads in both are unadjusted to normal life but find themselves living around those not accustomed to times of war. They swear to protect the respective heroines from all threats and hilarity ensues as their lack of understanding/common sense creates more problems than it solves. FMP is aimed at males and, as a result, has MUCH more comedy in its romance than shoujo series Shinobi Life does. Only the early parts of SL are comparable, though - in fairness - FMP itself does go in a darker, more drama-oriented direction itself, as its story progresses.

Both are written by Same author. Both has the mascot bonta kun in it. Both series are very funny. and both has character simillar except in this one i think the roles got changed instead of Sagara, Sousuke its a female named Kanie Seiya that has his personality.

Both manga balance the genres of action and comedy in a high school setting. FMP differs with its comedic situations originating from its military protagonist as he struggles to fit into the normality of high school, whilst also working to protect one of the school students from harm. While the story of Ansatsu Kyoushitsu involves a classroom of students assigned to assassinate a powerful creature, as he becomes their teacher, with its comedy originating from the pranks, mishaps and fails of the characters. So, if your a fan of stories that incorporate and consistently switch between the genres of comedy and action than you'll be  read more

In both series the main characters are teenaged soldiers who come from a life of warfare and returns home going back to high school. While in FMP Sousuke is tasked with protecting a girl, Teenage Enrollment has Ijin who has reunited with his family and protects them while attending school.

Jesus is a professional soldier and assassin who has to go undercover as a teacher at a school, he is also very unadjusted to regular society and ready to pull his gun at the least noise, lot of humor. And in Full Metal Panic! the mc is a professional soldier undercover as a student, and somehow their reactions to things at times are similar.

No mater how I look at it, I can’t shake the feeling that School Shock is very similar to FMP, but with swapped genders. Though School shock is more action orientated and FMP is more about mechs and has more humor, they both have sci-fi themes, nice drawn battles as well as a good bucket of fanservice. :3

These manga are very similar, especially the male leads. Sousuke and Ko are both serious, silent, handsome guys, expert in fighting, making strategies and using weaponry, but also capable of showing emotions, whose main goal is to protect a girl who is hunted and kidnapped by an organization. The female protagonists get caught into difficult situations, and even share the same name (Kana/Kaname). Both manga have action, guns, and a bit of romance. FMP has more comedy, C-Blossom has more drama. You can consider the latter as a more serious version of FMP. Both are short and fun reads.

Both are about a fairly normal high school girl and a guy who has no sense of social norms and does all sorts of crazy stuff around the girl while shes in school. Also in both there's a hint of romance between them.

Both have a professional warrior (soldier in full metal panic, assassin in Alyosha) come to japan and become high-school students. They have to deal with adapting to normal life and protect their new friends.

The main characters' personalities are quite similar: a maniac, but kind and honest guy with no experience in relationships but excellent in his own field of work, paired with a cute girl who is easy to piss off and tends to act violently.
