Episodic in nature, Chichi to Ko, is a slapstick comedy about a Father and Son with the mother being lost all the time.
Don't be fooled by its humble synopsis, it is quite an enjoyable and relaxing read. The side-characters are well crafted, with each having their own enjoyable personality quirks. I can't recall any story arcs that I disliked nor any did I find unamusing.

Story - is quite episodic but also connects at times. Interesting enough to keep me reading until I caught up. Great use of comedy, and a very simplistic way of telling. There isn't a lot of drama and just all around a feel good manga, which you can read to get away from all those other drama filled manga.

This is the cutest manga!! you won't even be expecting it...the humor just hits you lol
The dynamics of the father-son relationship is so adorable and hilarious. What's more, this is an extremely progressive manga. The father does all the housework, takes care of the son AND has a steady job; while the mother gets lost easily and is extremely bad at finding her way back home. This is such an obvious flip of existing gender roles that make the manga more perfect.
