This is a very memorable manga with a unique premise, and while there are bits I find lacking overall it's an entertaining read & reread.
My favorite part is probably the worldbuilding and the whacky hijinks that come with the main characters' powers; the idea of there being a an Evil King and Hero born every generation with social-magnetic influence is very fun as a concept.
My second favorite part is probably how they emphasize the effectiveness of erogenous zones through kissing. I'm a simple yaoi fan. I like a kiss so overwhelming the character goes weak in the knees.
The characters are interesting (a rotten Hero is

just plain fun as a character concept), but the unbalanced power dynamic made the love interest hard to love for me. While the narrative communicates his fondness in little ways, the main character truly never seems to get the upperhand; I kept waiting for the satisfaction of an eventual upset, or even a crack in the Hero's armor, and found myself impatient as the cocky, powerful man remained cocky and powerful.
The side characters are annoying. Later developments in the dynamic are less natural or believable. But the beginning and overall premise are a fun ride, and for that I often find myself coming back to this story. I think that counts for something.
