Cynthia the mission is another one of those "missed potential" series, the characters were very well done and each had their own quirks and background. However there were several characters that felt thrown into the story for the sheer hell of it or served no purpose through most of the series. I say it missed its potential, because the plot was very weak throughout most of the series and alot of the characters were overused or underused.

Cynthia is one of the weirdest manga i read recently, and the wierdness is a good thing in this case.
One of the arcs is literally about a girl trying using swastikas in eyes to kill president of the United States for revenge for the Iran War. The story is pretty much a dumb battle manga about martial artists with really bizzare abilities. The fights, characters and arcs are interesting, because of how much creativity there is to them. Author goes full JoJo with characterisation of main protegonists giving them o lot of quirks. Fights are great, gory and unpredictable. Sad there is no part 2 tho |
