Both are about Fox Demon Girls and a Boy who has to live with them.

The protagonists are pretty ordinary guys, a little on the unlucky side, and then a beautiful, mysterious girl barges in on their lives and homes and claims to be their wife. Both Lala and Kyouka are very mischievous and ditsy at times, but are also devoted to Rito/Ousuke. Rito and Ousuke, because of their misfortune, often to get into some humorous misunderstood situations.

In both of these manga, the protagonist wants to live a normal life, but he struggles to achieve that when he is forced into a marriage with a local deity. In one, the wife is a kitsune deity while in the other, the fiance is a tanuki. Both manga focus more on comedy rather than romance.

Comedy titles involving a male protagonist and his relationship with a female deity. Both titles also feature romance narratives, but this is more apparent in Kitsune no Yomeiri.

In both titles, a male protagonist, in the hopes of finding love, makes a prayer at a shrine. His prayer is answered, much to his surprise, by a female deity who ends up being his romantic interest. Although GAN KON is also typified by action, both titles are fundamentally light-hearted romantic comedies.

Both titles primarily revolve around a relationship between a human male protagonist and a female fox who has taken on a human form. Do note however that Kanokon features mature content, whereas Kitsune no Yomeiri is light-hearted.

Light-hearted romantic comedies with a supernatural twist. In Nyan Koi!, the male protagonist has been cursed by a cat deity and can now speak and understand cats. In Kitsune no Yomeiri, the male protagonist develops a relationship with a fox who has taken on a human form.
