I finished reading “Tsurebito” by Akihito Yoshitomi and wanted to give a short review. The manga is self concluding and has only 23 chapters. It tells a story that tells us about death, where we are going. It is also a story of a love lost by tragedy.
A tragedy for which other tragedies are born, and other loves are born. The manga also shows us how real and deep the soul of another can be, the worst parts of one. Being short, it does not introduce many characters, but it manages to connect very well with the most important ones.

between the living and the dead, it plays nicely with the concept of time. That allows you to mix an ever-changing environment where reality intersects with people's feelings, and thus show a surreal drawing if you want from this plane

It's a fairly basic story, but it knows how to develop and knows how to make you shed tears in some moments that it builds perfectly. Being quite short, it's a quick read manga and while there are a couple of good twists, it doesn't need too much attention.
Tsurebito shows that fear of death, and he accepts this as something real. We don't know where we're going, or if we're going anywhere, and the manga doesn't try to show that. It stays with that feeling of living your life to the fullest, taking advantage of every moment. One day you are, and another day you are not.

Termine de leer “Tsurebito” de Akihito Yoshitomi y quería poner una cortita opinión. El manga es auto conclusivo y tiene solo 23 capítulos. Cuenta una historia que nos habla sobre la muerte, hacia dónde vamos. Es también una historia de un amor perdido por una tragedia.
Una tragedia por la cual nacen otras tragedias, y nacen otros amores. El manga también nos muestra como de real y profunda puede ser el alma de otro, las peores partes de uno. Al ser corto, no se presentan muchos personajes, pero logra conectar muy bien con los más importantes.
Al centrarse en un intersticio entre los vivos y los muertos, juega muy bien con el concepto del tiempo. Que permite mezclar un entorno siempre cambiante donde se cruza lo real con los sentimientos de las personas, y así mostrar un dibujo surrealista si se quiere de este plano

Es una historia bastante básica, pero sabe desarrollarse y sabe cómo hacerte soltar una lagrima en algunos momentos que construye de manera perfecta. Al ser bastante corto, es un manga que se lee rápido y si bien hay un par de giros buenos, no necesita demasiada atención.
Tsurebito muestra ese miedo que hay a la muerte, y el aceptar esto como algo real. No sabemos dónde vamos, o si vamos a alguna parte, y eso el manga no intenta demostrarlo. Se queda con ese sentimiento de vivir al máximo tu vida, aprovechar cada momento. Un día estas, y otro no.
