I stumbled upon this read while looking at other stories with monster/undead girls. The whole thing is basically a sort of combination of Detective Conan and Erased in terms of mystery-solving, with a more direct splash of the arcane, mystical, and time-exploration. The story is fairly straightforward, but the puzzles sometimes made it too dense for me to care. Due to the supernatural presence in the world, it feels like a lot of the explanations might have been unnecessary, especially towards the later mysteries.
The art is fairly standard and some of the girls almost appear to have very similar faces. Faces in general are actually

a little bland, save for the main female lead's. Art for the dead and living differ nicely but make the former feel very static. That could just be artist's intention though. Action scenes are present, but they also feel less dynamic, though this is probably not an issue since this isn't an action genre.
Character development wasn't too absent, but it also felt sort of bland. The main character's more interesting side is shown in past tense through memories. Side character girls all were relatively flat save one. The main female lead has, by far, the most character.
I wouldn't say I enjoyed the series immensely. I read it for the ghosts rather than the mysteries and their explanation, save for the ending, which had a nice, neat bow on everything and lifted it all up overall for me.
