Brother is overly protective of his Sister - who is a Vampire and the Brother tries to keep this secret from others. Another thing shared is the close involvement from another Female, which complicates matters for the siblings. Biggest difference is that 'Sister Blood: Gensou no Tsuki to Furueru Chi' has incestuous vibes, whearas 'Fudatsuki no Kyouko-chan?' doesn't.

Short forbidden love stories, where the Brother cares for his inflicted Sister. The Sister is extremely possessive, and does not want anyone or anything to come between them. The Brother takes out his conflicted desires on another Female. Both Manga have controversial aspects to them, 'Sister Blood' also contains some horror & gore.

A similar atmosphere. Both share a pure gothic atmosphere. Death is their common theme: in the case of Sister Blood, it's because one of the characters is a dangerous vampire, and in Epitaph it's because the two protagonists work for a funeral.     The main characters are also similar: in both cases, there's a duet. Both are portraying orphans. In each duet, one of them has a more or less close connection with the supernatural. There is also a lot of romantic innuendo between the two characters.
