If you're looking for more than simple fluff and classic twist and want a story that will stay with you for a long time after you're done reading, these are for you. Not to worry, these aren't dark dramas, they have their own kind of happy ending, but it's not with a carefree light heart.
I've only listed the reads that even though they really got to me, they were still beautiful stories. Each one of these titles gripped my heart and made me feel more than the usual BLs. Whether it be a character or the storyline, my mind kept going back to it, even several other reads afterwards.

There's just something unique about a love story with an age gap between the MLs. Innocence meets experience, it can sometimes represent a new beginning for someone who had lost hope, or bring light, laughter and happiness. Whatever the plot, whether it be hilarious or angsty, it definitely adds an additional layer to BL love stories.
