Manga that can get an Adaptation or a Sequel that haven't got announced yet.

PLS!! I could die happy if Oshi no Ko is getting an Anime adaptation.

Update:
Yay. It's official.

These extra manga has reasons:

*Suki na Ko ga Megane wo Wasureta is a Takagi killer and will take over.
*Act-Age could've adapted by now but the Author f**ked it up.
*Ao no Flag is interesting, but I see the reason why they haven't done anything yet.
*Masamune-kun no Revenge is getting the Final Half. Thank God.
*Takopii no Genzai is too dark.

[Im done updating]

If you've had enough life and love experience to have a decent understanding of how things actually work (and how they don't), you realize that the way manga and anime typically portray romance is lacking, to say the least. And also generally horrible, if I'm being honest. But some are clearly written by people who know what's up—and you should check them out.

This is a list of printed works featuring characters who:
* exhibit authentic romantic chemistry with each other;
* have charisma and/or sex appeal and aren't afraid to use it;
* are able to hold mutually engaging conversations on different subjects;
* have three-dimensional personalities that are interesting and relatable outside the context of their relationships;
* go above and beyond the stale tropes in their relationship;
* otherwise behave like people tend to in non-imaginary relationships.

Includes well-written same-sex/LGBTI romance that complies with the principles above.

Includes stories that explore toxic/unhealthy relationships and relationships that don't end well but are still true to the real-world experience.

Includes stories that aren't completely focused on romance but have it as one of the core elements of the storytelling and character progression.

More entries will be added in the future. Existing entries are subject to revision.

This list constitutes my personal views and stances. Feel free to shoot me suggestions via DMs but make sure you have a convincing argument if it's not something that's already on my main manga/anime list. I don't promise it'll end up here but I will consider all suggestions.

This list is printed-works-only because many of these don't have an anime equivalent and I don't want to multiply effort. Entries that have anime adaptations may be experienced better as such (I have noted it in the descriptions where applicable).

Honorable anime-only and anime-original mentions: Mind Game, Furiko, Steins;Gate.

Tired of indecisive authors ending their work with an inconclusive ending? Or do you just want to embark on a new best girl war?

This interest stack features stories where the MC is surrounded by two or more female love interests and sticks with one before the end of the story.

Most of the entries also have an anime adaptation which covers the entire story and it is suggested that you prioritise it.

All mangas and light novels have fan/official translations.

Disclaimer: best girl winning not guaranteed

Does not include works as Re:Zero, for example, where Subaru was a hikikomori but didn't had any issues when talking with ppl after isekaied.

Mob-like characters are also welcome to the list if they have difficult in friendships or dating relationships.

By now i don't know how to ability any direct contribution for the list, so dm me if you have any work you wanna add

Genre of romance with a loner mc as protagonist or male lead. Anti-social/introvert. Those last two words are there for the search.

Romance (or manga/manhwa where romance is a big aspect of it where the main couple or even the secondary couple argue a lot. I’m not gonna lie, the typical, diabetic romance make me cringe too much and I end up not enjoying them a lot of the time. The ones where they bicker with each other feel more relatable and are, in general, a fun read.
