In both mangas, the protagonist is scorned by society (in Kuusen Madoushi, it's because of an incident, and in Rakudai Kishi it's because he's weak and is in the F-class). Both protagonists, are strong in some aspect, and have a mysterious past. Both males also have to deal with girls, as in Kuusen Madoushi he has to train them, and in Rakudai Kishi they are romantically attracted to him. Also, rankings are used in both mangas and so is magic. They do have their differences, as in Kuusen Madoushi, they use magic to defeat "bug monsters" and in Rakudai Kishi, they study magic (for warfare,  read more

Both are about students at Magic schools who are marked as failures but are actually quite strong due to unique abilities. They each have a younger sister who adores her older brother and also have a female lead that is marked as exceptional yet is not as strong or loses to the main character.

-Both anime have something in common where at the beginning of the story the MC is the worst or the weakest student. -At the beginning of the story the Heroine will have problems with the MC and end up together throughout the story. -Both tells of their struggle to be the best (Zero to hero). -When talking about romance, yes they have a romance section at some point but it still has a sense of action. I think both manga are really good if you like them, I recommend reading them ^_^

In both mangas, there is an academy people attend where they can practice "sword skills" (swordsmanship). The protagonist of both mangas seemingly has a shrouded past (in Rakudai, some of his past has been leaked). Both protagonists also are surrounded by a group of girls (a harem) who may have feelings of affection for him. There is a "little sister" in both series, who come to see him (part of harem in Rakudai, attacks him in Magika). If you've liked one series, you may enjoy the other.

Well, both are base off a LN. The MCs are more or less likable. They both involve magic, swords and magic schools + a ranking system. The heroine are both princesses with fire-based abilities. They have a school competition/festival. Oh yeah, both MC duels the heroine in the beginning. If you find one good you'll probably find the other one enjoyable too.

Within both manga, the main protagonist are powerful and they're going to participate in some sort of tournament. Also, there is that girl who challenges them believing they're weak.

Both manga take place in midieval times and in a special academy, unrelated to teaching normal studies. Both mc are famous for being the weakest yet the strongest of all (you'll get it once you read them) that come from good and throughly known families. Also, both female mc are (conceited) princesses from noble families and the top students of the academy that want to become the best/strongest. Finally, both manga start by having the the two main characters being challenged (by the girls) into a duel. And of course the're both very interesting! ^_^

Both these manga occurs in school, as well having a rank system where both protagonist are the lowest scoring student and everyone believe they're weak and pathetic. That is until they see their match, where both of them are quite powerful. If you enjoy manga where the protagonist has hidden talent and are proclaim as weaklings but are actually strong, you'll love these both.
