Manga: Aho Girl
Really the only thing these two have in common is I find them screamingly hilarious. Excel Saga is my favorite manga but Hiroyuki's stuff the next best in my opinion. They both do tend to move at breakneck pace and neither are particularly sympathetic to their protagonists.

Manga: Seikimatsu Leader Den Takeshi!
These two share an almost nonsense type of comedy and parody popular manga tropes a lot.

Manga: Mebius Gear
Rikudo Koshi's insane, extreme, but most well-done works, for a mature audience only. Both have an episodic nature, a cast of unique characters, and the same great art style. While Excel Saga is nonsensical and random to the max, Mebius Gear's story is pretty good and actually makes sense, since it's only drawn, and not written, by Koshi-sensei. ES is over the top, but MG is more hardcore because of its graphic gore and sex.
