Some titles have their own style added into the manga, this is totally fine - so cartoonish features and anatomically incorrect proportions are fine - so long as backgrounds or character art is high quality and reminiscent of realistic imagery/CGI then its eligible for this list. The Masked Man is an American YouTuber who makes videos primarily about manga, but also anime, and very occasionally video games. He does in-depth analysis on the subjects he talks about. Here is his top 50 manga. No gimmicks, no throwing bombs on skateboards, no soccer prison, no baseball gambling, just real people doing real sports. This stack also includes manga that are not listed as "Psychological" in mal database but they still have psychological elements in them E.g. Shoujo Fujuubun. I'm disabled, so I read a lot of content looking for representation. A common problem with this content is that it is not handled well and/or is actually ableist. I wanted to make a list of disability representation, or stories with disabled characters in general, that are safe for anyone else looking for representation or perhaps hoping to learn more about disabilities.
